An animated folk tale follows Deni Maroon as he plans a music festival on Guava Island, facing various obstacles including a mugging, a despotic boss, and ultimately getting assassinated, while his partner Kofi tells their child a story about dreams coming true. Guava Island is a 2019 American English-language Comedy Thriller motion picture featuring Donald Glover, Nonso Anozie, Letitia Wright, Robyn Rihanna Fenty, Alan Jael Velázquez Abreu, Renny Arozarena and Zaida Aymerich. Regency Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Donald Glover, Fam Udeorji, Carmen Cuba and Jennifer Roth. The movie is directed by Hiro Murai. Amazon Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Guava Island was released on 13th April 2019 and takes a screen time of 56 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Stephen Glover. Cinematography was done by Christian Sprenger and editing by Isaac Hagy. The music was composed by Michael Uzowuru.
