The movie is based on the true story of Gour Hari Das, an Odisha freedom fighter who fought for recognition of his contribution as a freedom fighter from the Indian government for 32 years. Gour Hari Dastaan is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Biography Drama movie starring Vinay Pathak, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Deepak Saksule, Vikram Gokhale and Neha Pendsev. Gour Hari Dastaan was Produced by Bindiya Khanolkar and Sachin Khanolkar. Gour Hari Dastaan is written by Cp Surendran and C. P. Surendran and it is directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan and Anant Mahadevan. Gour Hari Dastaan was released on 14th August 2015 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹18 lakh. Cinematography was done by Alphonse Roy and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. The music was composed by Dr. L. Subramaniam.
