A real estate agent named Sandra Dunmore engages in an affair with her brother-in-law Ben, while her husband Jake discovers their infidelity and threatens suicide, leading to a series of events involving revenge, death, investigations, blackmail, and a plot to retrieve inheritance money, resulting in both Sandra and investigator Rita Pompano collecting the money and living luxuriously.
