Glitter is a 2001 American English-language Drama Musical film featuring Mariah Carey, Max Beesley, Terrence Howard, Da Brat, Tia Texada, Valarie Pettiford and Carlos Jahsir. 20th Century Fox in association with Columbia Pictures, Butterfly MC Productions and Laurence Mark Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Laurence Mark. Glitter is written by Cheryl L. West and Kate Lanier and it is directed by Vondie Curtis-hall and Vondie Curtis Hall. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Glitter was released on 21st September 2001 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. Glitter was made on a budget of $22 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. Cinematography was done by Geoffrey Simpson and editing by Jeff Freeman. The music was composed by Terence Blanchard.
