Ram Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Baija Tom, and Dr. V. Rama Doss. Glamour Girl is written by S. Ramakrishnan and directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan. Reliance Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Glamour Girl was released on 1st January 2000. Glamour Girl was made on a budget of ₹45 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by G. N. R. Kumaravela.
