A group of female scientists and their new recruit investigate a malevolent ghost, capture spirits, and eventually prevent a mad scientist from breaching a ghostly dimension, leading to government support for their endeavors. Ghostbusters is a 2016 American English-language Action Comedy film starring Melissa Mccarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mckinnon, Leslie Jones, Charles Dance, Michael K. Williams and Chris Doigenstein. The movie is inspired from Ghostbusters by Dan Aykroyd Harold Ramis. Columbia Pictures in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, Ghost Corps and The Montecito Picture Company. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ivan Reitman and Amy Pascal. Ghostbusters is written by Katie Dippold, Paul Feig, Ivan Reitman, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis and it is directed by Paul Feig. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Ghostbusters was released on 14th July 2016 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ghostbusters was made on a budget of $144 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $229 million. Cinematography was done by Robert Yeoman and editing by Brent White and Melissa Bretherton. The music was composed by Theodore Shapiro.
