Gair

This is a story about a child who overcomes abandonment and poverty, and achieves great success, but must face jealousy, deceit, and class struggle from those who resent their accomplishments. Gair is a 1999 Indian Hindi-language Drama Action film featuring Ajay Devgn, Raveena Tandon, Reena Roy, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal, Ajay Devgan and Nandita Thakur. Scorer Associates in association with BBC Natural History Unit and Discovery Channel. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Harish Sapkale, and Prakash Patil. Gair is written by Rajeev Kaul, Praful Parekh and Santosh Saroj and it is directed by Ashok Gaikwad. Gair was released on 10th October 1999 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. Gair was made on a budget of ₹3 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 crore. Cinematography was done by Anwar Siraj and editing by Waman Bhonsle, and Gurudutt Shirali. The music was composed by Anand Milind.
