The movie is inspired from It by Stephen King. Gaaya was Produced by Barbara Muschietti, Dan Lin and Roy Lee. The movie is directed by Andy Muschietti. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Gaaya was released on 27th August 1996 and takes a screen time of 169 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Gaaya was made on a budget of $79 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $473 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Gary Dauberman.
