Jonas Maldonado joins the police academy, is mentored by his late fathers former partner who turns out to be corrupt, seeks justice by framing him, avenges his fathers death by eliminating corrupt cops, but now faces a decision on whether to continue down a righteous path or not. Freelancers is a 2012 American English-language Action Crime motion picture featuring 50 Cent, Forest Whitaker, Robert De Niro, Malcolm Goodwin, Ryan O nan, Anabelle Acosta and Keyana Rodney. Grindstone Entertainment Group in association with Cheetah Vision, Emmett/Furla Films and Envision Entertainment Corporation. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) 50 Cent, Mark Canton, Randall Emmett and George Furla. Freelancers is written by L. Philippe Casseus and directed by Jessy Terrero. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Freelancers was released on 12th January 2013 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. Freelancers was made on a budget of $11 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million.
