A wealthy couples life spirals out of control when they lose their money due to theft and framing, leading them to seek refuge in an Amish community where they find love and help, but ultimately have to face their charges and reconcile before returning to the community. For Richer or Poorer is a 1997 American English-language Comedy motion picture featuring Tim Allen, Kirstie Alley, Jay O. Sanders, Michael Lerner, Wayne Knight, Larry Miller and Tom Templeton. The Bubble Factory was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Richard Baker. For Richer or Poorer is written by Jana Howington and Steve Lukanic and it is directed by Bryan Spicer. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. For Richer or Poorer was released on 12th December 1997 and takes a screen time of 115 minutes. For Richer or Poorer was made on a budget of $35 million and at the box office it grossed only $32 million. Cinematography was done by Buzz Feitshans IV and editing by Russell Denove.
