Lancelot lives by the sword. In fact, they re next door neighbors, so teaming up to fight for money comes pretty naturally. Lady Guinevere, on her way to marry King Arthur is ambushed by the evil Sir Malagant. Fortunately, Lancelot is lurking nearby and he rescues his future Queen. They fall in love, but Guinevere still fancies the idea of wearing a crown, so she honors her promise to Arthur. Columbia Pictures in association with Zucker Brothers Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hunt Lowry and Jerry Zucker. The movie is directed by Jerry Zucker. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. First Knight was released on 7th July 1995 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. First Knight was made on a budget of $55 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by William Nicholson. Cinematography was done by Adam Greenberg and editing by Walter Murch. The music was composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
