When actress Annabelle Gurwitch was fired from a play by Woody Allen, she wondered how she would cope with being downsized by a cultural icon. Turning to friends in show business, she was assured she was not alone. Everyone she knew, from her rabbi to her gynecologist, had their own account of getting the boot. Featuring interviews with comedians, economists and regular working folks, and drawing on her hugely popular book, Fired! is a humorous look at downsizing in America. Written by Anonymous Fired! is a 2007 American English-language Documentary Comedy motion picture featuring Nicholas D agosto, Eric Christian Olsen, Sarah Roemer, Molly Sims, Danneel Harris, Adhir Kalyan and Roy Zimmerman. Fired! was Produced by Matthew Gross, Peter Jaysen and Charles Weinstock. Fired! is written by Freedom Jones and directed by Will Gluck. Screen Gems acquired the distribution rights for the film. The movie has a running time of 89 minutes. Fired! was made on a budget of $20 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Thomas E. Ackerman and editing by Tracey Wadmore-Smith. The music was composed by Richard Gibbs.
