Sunanda Raut, a respected divorce lawyer in India, advocates fiercely for womens rights in court, taking on challenging cases involving rape, domestic abuse, mental illness, and complex facets of marriage and love, while simultaneously dealing with her own unresolved personal trauma. Firebrand is a 2019 Indian Marathi-language Drama film featuring Usha Jadhav, Sachin Khedekar, Girish Kulkarni, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Laxman Singh Rajput, Puja Agarwal and Akshay Dandekar. Purple Pebble Pictures was the production house involved in the project. The movie is written and directed by Aruna Raje. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie.
