A medical student from Texas falls in love with his brothers sister-in-law during his trip to India, but a misunderstanding creates a rift between them until they have a road trip in the US that leads them to reconcile their love. Fidaa was Produced by Dil Raju and A. G. Nadiadwala. Fidaa is written by Sekhar Kammula and Chaithanya Pingali and it is directed by Sekhar Kammula and Priyadarshan. Fidaa was released on 13th July 2018 and takes a screen time of 145 mins. The Film was successful at box office. Fidaa was made on a budget of ₹12 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹90 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Neeraj Vora. Cinematography was done by Jeeva and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Anu Malik along with Surinder Sodhi. At the 2018 South Filmfare Awards It won 3 awards including: Best Actress (Sai Pallavi), Best Playback Singer - Female and Best Playback Singer - Male. At the 2018 South Filmfare Awards It also won an award for Best Choreography. At the 2018 It also won an award for Best Female Playback Singer.
