In the first season of the show, an Israeli soldier named Doron learns that the terrorist Taufiq Hammed is still alive and plans to attend his brothers wedding, prompting Doron to rejoin his unit and go undercover; however, their cover is blown, Taufiq escapes, and a chain of events including revenge, kidnapping, and a plot involving sarin gas ensues, leading ultimately to Taufiqs death.
