Farishtay was Produced by Sattee Shourie and Mona Kapoor. Farishtay is written by Shabd Kumar, Anil Sharma and Shadb Kumar and it is directed by Anil Sharma. S. G. S. Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Farishtay was released on 22nd February 1991 and takes a screen time of 197 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Farishtay was made on a budget of ₹78 lakh and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Dhanda and editing by A. R. Rajendran. The music was composed by Bappi Lahiri along with Raamlaxman.
