Far and Away

A man seeks revenge on his landlord after his home is burned down in 1892 Ireland, but ends up injured and cared for by the landlords wife and daughter who plan to flee to America for free land, only to face numerous challenges and setbacks along the way before finally claiming their own land together. Imagine Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Bob Dolman. Far and Away is written by Bob Dolman and Ron Howard and it is directed by Ron Howard. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film.
