Prashant, known as Fanney Khan, dreams of his daughter Lata becoming a successful singer, but after circumstances prevent him from pursuing his own dreams, he kidnaps famous singer Baby Singh to release an album for Lata, only to discover that Baby and his friend Adhir have formed a friendship, leading to a change of heart and a happy ending where Lata replaces Baby on a reality show, showcasing her talent and Prashants efforts are praised. Fanney Khan is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama motion picture featuring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Divya Dutta, Pihu Sand, Anaitha Nair and K M Rasheduzzaman Rafi. The movie is based on Everybody s Famous! by Dominique Deruddere. T-Series Films in association with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anil Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, P.s Bharathi, Rajiv Tandon, Kussum Arora, Deepanshu Mishra, Nishant Pitti and Virrendra Arora. Fanney Khan is written by Hussain Dalal, Abbas Dalal and Atul Manjrekar and it is directed by Atul Manjrekar. T-Series Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Fanney Khan was released on 3rd August 2018 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. Fanney Khan was made on a budget of ₹39 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹10 crore.
