A man with four daughters and a son arranges marriages for his elder daughters with class-4 matches to give less dowry, leading to the wives teaching their husbands a lesson and making their father understand his error. Family is a 1996 Indian Telugu-language Drama film starring Rajendra Prasad, Ooha, Ali, Tanikella Bharani, Kinnera, Nutan Prasad and A.v.s. Subramanyam. The movie is based on Kaalam Maari Pochu. Vijaya Bapineedu Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Leela-laila-lalini-lalitha. Family is written by G. Satya Murthy and directed by Vijaya Bapineedu. Family was released on 31st December 1995 and takes a screen time of 149 mins. The screenplay for the movie was written by Vijaya Bapineedu. Cinematography was done by M. V. Raghu and editing by Trinath. The music was composed by Prasanna Swaraj.
