Escape From Uganda

A couple faces challenges due to objections to their marriage, leading them to seek refuge in Uganda where they build a happy life, but they encounter trouble when the wife is arrested for murder, and her husband seeks help from a local Don to outsmart him, ultimately leading to the arrest of the Don and the couples successful escape. Escape From Uganda is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language Thriller film featuring Rima Kallingal, Vijay Babu, R. Parthiepan, Joju George, Tashu Kaushik, Mukesh Babu and Michael Wawuyo Jr. Vaya Films in association with River Nile Motion Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Usha Rajesh Nair, Girisch Nair, Usha Rajesh and Kishor Nair. Escape From Uganda is written by Rajesh Nair, Usha Rajesh Nair and Salin Mankuzhy and it is directed by Rajesh Nair and Rajesh Mohanan. Kalasangham Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Escape From Uganda was released on 29th November 2013. Escape From Uganda was made on a budget of ₹6 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sandeep Robinson, Deepak Prabhakaran and Nithin Bhadran. Cinematography was done by Vishnu Sarma and editing by Ratheesh Raj and Gopi Sunder. The music was composed by National Award winner Gopi Sundar along with Varun Unni and Gopi Sunder.
