Escape from Alcatraz

The movie is inspired from Escape from Alcatraz by J. Campbell Bruce. The Malpaso Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Don Siegel and Robert Daley. Escape from Alcatraz is written by J. Campbell Bruce and Richard Tuggle and it is directed by Don Siegel. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Escape from Alcatraz was released on 22nd June 1979 and takes a screen time of 112 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office.
