Karan seeks justice against criminal Baba Sikander after his adoptive father is killed, with the help of a former police inspector and hitman. Elaan is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language Action Thriller film starring Mithun Chakraborty, John Abraham, Amisha Patel, Rahul Khanna, Lara Dutta, Arjun Rampal and Chhaya. Jerry Bruckheimer Television in association with Nana.10.Co.il and Warner Bros. Television. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bharat S Shah, Ganesh Jain and Ratan Jain. Elaan is written by Robin Bhatt, Vikram Bhatt and Girish Dhamjia and it is directed by Vikram Bhatt. Venus Records & Tapes acquired the distribution rights for the film. Elaan was released on 14th January 2005 and takes a screen time of 159 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Elaan was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹4 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robin Bhatt and Vikram Bhatt. Cinematography was done by Pravin Bhatt and editing by Kuldeep Mehan. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik.
