After returning to Mexico, Benny discovers a country devastated by economic crisis and crime, and is motivated to help his late brothers widow and son, leading him to join a drug cartel for the purpose of freeing his nephew from jail, but he becomes troubled by the violence he witnesses and seeks revenge after his nephews betrayal, ultimately uncovering the truth about his brothers death, although he is ultimately killed by Don Franciscos grandson.
