Davey Stone, an alcoholic with a criminal record, is sentenced to community service under the supervision of an elderly referee. Davey is then faced with trying to reform and abandon his bad habits. Eight Crazy Nights is a 2002 American English-language Animation Comedy film starring Adam Sandler, Jackie Titone, Austin Stout, Rob Schneider, Jackie Sandler, Kevin Nealon and Jessy Melowicz. Columbia Pictures in association with Happy Madison Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Adam Sandler, Allen Covert and Jack Giarraputo. Eight Crazy Nights is written by Brooks Arthur, Allen Covert, Brad Isaacs and Adam Sandler and it is directed by Seth Kearsley. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Eight Crazy Nights was released on 27th November 2002 and takes a screen time of 76 minutes. Eight Crazy Nights was made on a budget of $34 million and at the box office it grossed only $23 million. Editing was done by Amy Budden. The music was composed by Teddy Castellucci along with Marc Ellis and Ray Ellis.

      When coupled with the movies mean spirited sentiments and abundant commercial plugs, these eight nights stretch out into what feels like a lifetime in hell.Viewers expecting a Jewish focused holiday cartoon a la The Rugrats will be disappointed, too, as the movie has very little Chanukah related content, and what is there is swept up into a generalized holiday season guise rather than anything denominationally specific.
