Eetta

Gopalan smuggles sandalwood and falsely accuses Varuthunni, leading to conflict and division among the cane workers, ultimately resulting in Ramus death as he tries to protect his father, leading Varuthunni to seek revenge and kill Gopalan. Eetta is a 1978 Indian Malayalam-language Action Drama motion picture starring Kamal Haasan, Madhu, Sheela Antony, Seema Sasidaran, M.g. Soman, Jose Prakash and Prem Prakash. Cherupushpam Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. J. Joseph. Eetta is written by Rajamani and A Sherif and it is directed by I.v. Sasi and I. V. Sasi. Cherupushpam Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Eetta was released on 10th November 1978. The screenplay for the movie was written by Alleppey Sheriff. Cinematography was done by C. Ramachandra Menon and editing by K. Narayanan. The music was composed by Paravur Devarajan. At the 1979 South Filmfare Awards It won 2 awards including: Best Actor (Kamal Haasan) and Best Director.
