A school counselor investigates a students death and uncovers dark secrets and a potential supernatural entity at an ancient Catholic school for girls, while facing threats to her job and suspicions towards a strict teacher. Eerie is a 2018 Filipino-language Crime Drama motion picture starring Bea Alonzo, Charo Santos-concio, Jake Cuenca, Maxene Magalona, Mary Joy Apostol, Gabby Padilla and Kathree Galvez. ABS-CBN Film Productions in association with Star Cinema, PelikulaRed, Cre8 Productions, URSA Studios and Media East. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Carlo Katigbak, Malou N. Santos, Olivia Lamasan, Abhi Rastogi, Gin Kai Chan and Justin Deimen. Eerie is written by Mikhail Red, Rae Red and Mariah Reodica and it is directed by Mikhail Red. mm2 Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Eerie was released on 28th March 2019 and takes a screen time of 101 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₱201 million. Cinematography was done by Mycko David and editing by Jeffrey Loreno and Nicolas Red. The music was composed by Myka Magsaysay-sigua along with Paul Sigua.
