Dushman

A reckless truck driver named Surjit Singh accidentally kills a farmer and is sent to live with the farmers family, eventually becoming a hardworking and respected member of the community, but he faces numerous challenges and injustices along the way before finding redemption and acceptance. Dushman is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language Drama motion picture starring Rajesh Khanna, Meena Kumari, Meena Kumari Bano, Mumtaz Askari, Nana Palsikar, Kanhaiyalal Chaturvedi and Jillani. Suchitra Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Premji. Dushman is written by Virendra Sinha and directed by Dulal Guha. Suchitra Productions acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Dushman was released on 3rd February 1972 and takes a screen time of 177 mins. Dushman was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹4 crore. Cinematography was done by M. Rajaram. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant Pyarelal.
