A girl named Willowdean grows up in a small Texas town, feeling disconnected from her beauty queen mother and struggling with her weight, but she enters a pageant with her friends as a protest and eventually reconciles with her love interest while bringing happiness to their mothers. Dumplin is a 2018 American English-language Comedy Drama film featuring Danielle Macdonald, Jennifer Aniston, Odeya Rush, Maddie Baillio, Bex Taylor-klaus, Luke Benward and Sarah Kopkin. The movie is inspired from Dumplin by Julie Murphy. Dumplin was Produced by Kristin Hahn, Michael Costigan, Trish Hofmann, Mohamed Alrafi and Jennifer Aniston. Dumplin is written by Kristin Hahn and directed by Anne Fletcher. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. Dumplin was released on 7th December 2018 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes. Dumplin was made on a budget of $13 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
