A con man in a fictional village in Goa helps his family cover up a murder, but eventually sacrifices himself to ensure their safety. Drishyam is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language Crime Drama film featuring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Ajay Devgan and Mohammad Reza Moghaddam. The movie is based on Drishyam by Jeethu Joseph. Panorama Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Ajit Andhare. Drishyam is written by Nishikant Kamat, Jeethu Joseph and Upendra Sidhaye and it is directed by Nishikant Kamat. Viacom18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Drishyam was released on 31st July 2015 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Drishyam was made on a budget of ₹38 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹147 crore. Cinematography was done by Avinash Arun and editing by Aarif Sheikh. The music was composed by National Award winner Vishal Bhardwaj along with Sameer Phaterpekar.
