A thief hides the location of stolen currency printing plates in musical notes of music boxes, leading Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson to investigate and ultimately arrest the thief and accomplices and return the plates to the bank. The movie is based on The Adventure of the Six Napoleons 1903 short stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
