Friends on a camping trip discover that the town they re vacationing in is being plagued in an unusual fashion by parasitic aliens from outer space. Dreamcatcher is a 2003 American English-language Drama Horror film starring Morgan Freeman, Thomas Jane, Jason Lee, Damian Lewis, Timothy Olyphant, Tom Sizemore and Chad Rook. The movie is inspired from Dreamcatcher by Stephen King. Dreamcatcher was Produced by Lawrence Kasdan, Charles Okun and Mark Kasdan. Dreamcatcher is written by Stephen King, William Goldman and Lawrence Kasdan and it is directed by Lawrence Kasdan. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Dreamcatcher was released on 21st March 2003 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. Dreamcatcher was made on a budget of $68 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $81 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by William Goldman and Lawrence Kasdan. Cinematography was done by John Seale and editing by Carol Littleton. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
