Draupathy depicts two storylines exposing exploitation and casteism in Indian society, following a social activist who uncovers corruption in fake marriages and a man seeking revenge against those who exploit upper-caste women, intersecting in their pursuit to end the systemic issues. Draupathi is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language Drama Action movie featuring Richard Rishi, Sheela Rajkumar, Karunas, Aruna Guhan, Nishanth, Adhithiya and Ashmita. GM Film Corporation & 7G Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohan G. Kshatriyan. The film is written and directed by Mohan G. Kshatriyan. Salem 7G Siva acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Draupathi was released on 6th March 2020 and takes a screen time of 180 minutes. Draupathi was made on a budget of ₹60 lakh. Cinematography was done by Manoj Narayan and editing by Devaraj S. The music was composed by Jubin.
