Dost

An orphan named Maanav returns home to find his mentor dead and befriends a thief named Gopichand, who later loses his right hand and decides to change his lifestyle, but Maanav falls in love with the daughter of his new jobs owner, and when Gopichand is arrested for selling contaminated milk powder, Maanav tries to uncover the reasons behind his crime. Dost is a 1974 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family motion picture featuring Dharmendra, Hema Malini, Shatrughan Sinha, Ravindra Kapoor, Kanhaiyalal Chaturvedi, Anwar Hussain and Jagdish Raj. Dost was Produced by Premji and J. N. Manchanda. Dost is written by Shafiq Ansari and Sachin Bhowmick and it is directed by Dulal Guha. Dost was released on 12th April 1974 and takes a screen time of 166 mins. Cinematography was done by M. Rajaram and editing by Bimal Roy Jr. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma, Laxmikant Pyarelal and Anand Bakshi.
