Malcolm, a student with dreams of attending Harvard, becomes involved in a dangerous world of drugs and crime, but ultimately manages to overcome the obstacles and secure his future. Dope is a 2015 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture featuring Shameik Moore, Tony Revolori, Kiersey Clemons, Kimberly Elise, Chanel Iman, Keith Stanfield and Jonny Yoku. Dope was Produced by Forest Whitaker and Nina Yang Bongiovi. The motion picture is written and directed by Rick Famuyiwa. Open Road Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Dope was released on 10th February 2016 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Dope was made on a budget of $7 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $18 million. Cinematography was done by Rachel Morrison and editing by Lee Haugen. The music was composed by Germaine Franco. At the 2015 Sundance Film Festival It won an award for Dramatic.
