A simple-minded young man falls in love, discovers his guardian is his real father, is accused of murder, and later reveals the reason behind his confession. Diwana is a 1967 Indian Hindi-language Musical Romance movie starring Raj Kapoor, Saira Banu, Lalita Pawar, Kamal Kapoor, Hiralal, Kanhaiyalal Chaturvedi and Paul Mahendra. Anupam Chitra was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mukhram Sharma and N. C. Sippy. Diwana is written by C.l. Kavish and C. L. Kavish and it is directed by Mahesh Kaul. Diwana was released on 1st January 1967 and takes a screen time of 171 min. Cinematography was done by S. S. Samel and editing by R. V. Shrikhande.
