Divergent is written by Evan Daugherty, Vanessa Taylor and Veronica Roth and it is directed by Neil Burger. Lionsgate acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Divergent was released on 20th March 2014 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Divergent was made on a budget of $85 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $288 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Evan Daugherty and Vanessa Taylor.
