A girl named Milea moves to Bandung in 1990 and meets Dilan, a popular bad boy in school, and despite already having a boyfriend, she develops feelings for Dilan due to his romantic gestures and confidence, they grow closer, he agrees to stop getting involved in fights for her, writes love poems for her, but their relationship faces obstacles when she is taken against her will to her personal tutors university, leading to a disappointed letter from Dilan and a fight that ultimately brings them together as a couple.
