Dhanwaan

A story about childhood sweethearts Kashinath and Imli, whose love is challenged when Anjali, a wealthy and sickly woman who falls for Kashinath, enters their lives and Imlis life is at risk due to a heart disease. Dhanwaan is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film starring Ajay Devgan, Manisha Koirala, Karishma Kapoor, Avinash Wadhawan, Karisma Kapoor, Aruna Irani and Himani Shivpuri. Shashi Sumeet Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sudhakar Bokade. Dhanwaan is written by Robin Bhatt, Sujit Sen, Javed Siddiqui, K. Viswanath and K. Vishwanath and it is directed by K. Viswanath and K. Vishwanath. Divya Films International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Dhanwaan was released on 10th December 1993. Dhanwaan was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 crore. Cinematography was done by Shyam Rao and editing by Prasanth-Vinod. The music was composed by Anand Milind.
