Dhananjoy

The story follows Dhananjoy Chatterjee, convicted of murdering Hetal Parekh in 1990 with circumstantial evidence, who spent 14 years appealing for clemency before being executed in 2004, illustrating the complexities of justice and the influence of circumstantial evidence in capital punishment. Dhananjoy is a 2017 Indian Bengali-language Drama motion picture starring Anirban Bhattacharya, Kaushik Sen, Mir Afsar Ali, Paran Banerjee, Mimi Chakraborty, Deepanjan Ghosh and Anusha Vishwanathan.
