Devi, a Nagini from Nagaloka, comes to Earth to protect Suseela from evil Naga Dantra and arranges her marriage to Raghava, promising to return to Nagaloka after Suseela gives birth to a blessed child. Devi is a 1999 Indian Telugu-language Drama Fantasy film featuring Prema, Abu Salim, Bhanuchander, Showkar Janaki, Babu Mohan, Master Mahendran and Vanitha Vijayakumar. Sumanth Art Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. S. Raju. Devi is written by Mohan Nair and Kodi Ramakrishna and it is directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. Lakshmi Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. Devi was released on 12th March 1999. The screenplay for the movie was written by Kodi Ramakrishna. Cinematography was done by Diwakar and editing by Suresh Tata. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
