A struggling tea-vendor and a rich college girl have a smooth relationship until the girls parents arrange for her to marry someone else, leading the tea-vendor to file a case against her, which gains public attention and reveals his selflessness, but ultimately he chooses to teach her a lesson and bids her farewell.
