Descendants 2 is a Disney Channel movie about Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, who struggles to meet expectations after receiving pressure as a royal in Auradon, while the Isle of the Lost falls into chaos under her former enemy Umas attempts to free all villains from imprisonment. Descendants 2 is a 2017 English-language Action Adventure film starring Hassan Rostamani, Viktoria Lushnikova, Mehrtash Saeidi, Hossein Mirzagholi, Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce and Joe Macleod. Balaji Telefilms was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mitra Roohimanesh. The movie is directed by Yaser Talebi. Elahe Nobakht acquired the distribution rights for the film. Descendants 2 was released on 20th August 2017 and takes a screen time of 80 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tamana Rastgar , Hamid Rassoulpor and Yaser Talebi. Cinematography was done by Mahmoodreza Mafi. The music was composed by Peyman Yazdanian.
