Roshan accompanies his dying grandmother to Old Delhi, where he becomes involved in the community and falls in love with Bittu, while a miscreant called the Kala Bandar creates chaos and religious tensions arise, leading to violence, but Roshan survives, confesses his love for Bittu, and decides to stay in Delhi 6. Delhi-6 is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film starring Waheeda Rehman, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Rishi Kapoor, Supriya Pathak and Pankaj Jha. The movie is based on Monkey-man of Delhi. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Ronnie Screwvala and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. Delhi-6 is written by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Prasoon Joshi and Kamlesh Pandey and it is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Delhi-6 was released on 18th February 2009 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Prasoon Joshi and Kamlesh Pandey. Cinematography was done by Binod Pradhan and editing by P. S. Bharathi. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A. R. Rahman. At the 2010 IIFA Awards It won an award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Divya Dutta).
