A young girl named Lakshmi falls in love with a materialistic man named Dharmaraju, but their love is complicated when Lakshmi becomes pregnant and is betrayed by Dharmaraju, leading to her being ostracized and seeking revenge years later with the help of her adopted son, Gopi. Suputhrudu is a 1971 Indian Telugu-language Comedy Documentary motion picture starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Lakshmi, Anjali Devi, Dave Chappelle, Gummadi, Tiffany Haddish and David Tullis. Madhavi Combines was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jagarlamudi Subba Rao and Gorantla Rajendra Prasad. Suputhrudu is written by Rodney Barnes, Lance Crouther, Alyson Fouse, Miles Grose, Jon Macks, Dino Shorte, Jeff Stilson and Bollimuntha Sivarama Krishna and it is directed by Rama Rao Tatineni, Louis J.
