In a remote underwater facility, scientists Susan and Jim conduct research on genetically engineered sharks, but when one shark escapes, it leads to a series of deadly events that result in the groups attempt to escape and ultimately, Susan sacrificing herself to save the others. Deep Blue Sea is a 1999 American English-language Action Sci-Fi motion picture featuring Saffron Burrows, Thomas Jane, Ll Cool J, Jacqueline Mckenzie, Michael Rapaport, Stellan Skarsg Rd and Roark Loedy. Village Roadshow Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Akiva Goldsman, Tony Ludwig and Alan Riche. Deep Blue Sea is written by Duncan Kennedy, Donna Powers and Wayne Powers and it is directed by Renny Harlin. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Deep Blue Sea was released on 1st September 1999 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. Deep Blue Sea was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million.
