In a small town, a Christmas-obsessed optometrists perfect holiday plans are disrupted by his new neighbor, a car salesman known for his extravagant Christmas lights, leading to a series of pranks and competitions until they reconcile and create a winter wonderland together. Regency Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Arnon Milchan, Michael Costigan and John Whitesell. Deck the Halls is written by Matt Corman, Chris Ord, Don Rhymer, Michael Costigan, Arnon Milchan, Jeremiah Samuels and John Whitesell and it is directed by John Whitesell. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the film. Deck the Halls was released on 30th November 2006 and takes a screen time of 93 minutes. Deck the Halls was made on a budget of $51 million and at the box office it grossed only $47 million. Cinematography was done by Mark Irwin and editing by Paul Hirsch. The music was composed by George S. Clinton.
