Death Race 2000 is a 1975 American English-language Action Comedy motion picture featuring David Carradine, Simone Griffeth, Sylvester Stallone, Louisa Moritz, Don Steele, Mary Woronov and Mary-robin Redd. The movie is inspired from The Racer by Ib Melchior. Death Race 2000 was Produced by Roger Corman and Jim Weatherill. The movie is directed by Paul Bartel. New World Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Death Race 2000 was released on 28th November 1975 and takes a screen time of 80 minutes. Death Race 2000 was made on a budget of $300 billion and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robert Thom and Charles B. Griffith. Cinematography was done by Tak Fujimoto and editing by Tina Hirsch. The music was composed by Paul Chihara.

Overall the movie isnt as synchromeshed as it might be; the rivalry between champions Carradine and Stallone isnt very interesting, and some of the gags arent sick or funny enough. But its a great audience film. ( Read More )
