A waste management firms illegal disposal plan is disrupted by a catastrophic accident in a tunnel under the Hudson River, leading former EMS Chief Kit Latura to risk his life to save survivors trapped in the damaged tunnel, facing numerous challenges, loss, and tragedy, but eventually finding hope and resilience as they are rescued and choose a different path to safety.
