A hardworking father who hunts vampires secretly must return to the vampire hunting union to support his family, but faces challenges when a vampire seeks revenge and plans to establish vampire colonies, leading to a final showdown where the father defeats the vampire and saves his loved ones while his friend miraculously survives an explosion. Day Shift is a 2022 American English-language Action Comedy movie featuring Jamie Foxx, Dave Franco, Snoop Dogg, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Meagan Good, Karla Souza and Kira Perry. Day Shift was Produced by Shaun Redick, Yvette Yates Redick, Chad Stahelski and Jason Spitz. The movie is directed by J. J. Perry. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the film. Day Shift was released on 12th August 2022 and takes a screen time of 114 minutes. Day Shift was made on a budget of $100 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Tyler Tice and Shay Hatten. Cinematography was done by Toby Oliver and editing by Paul Harb. The music was composed by Tyler Bates.

At least the film isnt inconsiderate enough to bore us with its specific mythology at length, content with rattling off some concerned dialogue about Ubers, spiders, southerns and easterns, apparently different vampire breeds that look disappointingly indistinguishable from one another.
