Antony falls in love with Rajeswari who belongs to an upper caste family. When her father kills her sister for marrying a man from the lower caste, she decides to elope with Antony. S. Ravikumar. Aascar Film Pvt. Ltd acquired the distribution rights for the film. Dass was released on 1st January 2005 and takes a screen time of 185 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
